Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated · July 17, 2026
Rules for acceptable platform use, prohibited conduct, and enforcement.
This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may not do with Delivvo. It applies to every Delivvo user, including freelancers, agencies, team members, invited client users, anyone accessing a Delivvo-hosted project portal, and anyone holding a licence for Cutroom, our desktop video editor.
Purpose
Delivvo is built for legitimate client-work workflows: file delivery, feedback, approvals, contracts, invoices, and related communication. You may use the platform only in a lawful, honest, and security-responsible manner. You may not use Delivvo in a way that harms Delivvo, other users, invited clients, third parties, or the public.
Cutroom is built for making video. The same standard applies to it, with one honest difference described under Cutroom and the desktop app below: what you edit in Cutroom stays on your computer, so we do not see it and do not police it. The rules still bind you.
Prohibited content
You may not upload, store, transmit, request, or distribute content through Delivvo that:
- is illegal or promotes illegal activity
- infringes another person's copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights
- contains malicious code, ransomware, spyware, viruses, trojans, or other harmful software
- is spam, phishing, or part of a deceptive commercial scheme
- includes child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits or endangers minors
- is harassing, threatening, hateful, or abusive
- impersonates a person, company, or public body in a misleading or deceptive way
- is fraudulent, defamatory, or intended to manipulate recipients into unauthorized payment or disclosure
You remain solely responsible for the content you upload and for the business communications you send through Delivvo.
Prohibited behavior
You may not:
- access or attempt to access another user's data, account, portal, or project without authorization
- reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise try to extract Delivvo source code, trade secrets, or underlying models except where non-waivable law expressly permits it
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Delivvo or any connected system without prior written permission
- interfere with the normal operation of Delivvo or any other user's access to it
- use Delivvo to stalk, intimidate, extort, or harass clients, freelancers, employees, or third parties
- bypass account limits, project caps, storage caps, or plan gates
- create false identities or fake project portals for misleading, abusive, or fraudulent purposes
Prohibited use of contracts and signatures
The Delivvo signing flow records a server-side audit trail (timestamp, IP address, User-Agent, approximate geolocation, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the contract content) so that signed agreements carry meaningful evidence. Misuse of this flow is strictly prohibited. You may not:
- sign a contract on behalf of another person without their actual authorisation, or otherwise impersonate a signer
- forward a signing link to a person who is not the named recipient with the intent of having that person sign in the recipient's place
- alter, forge, or manipulate a signature image, signed PDF, or audit-trail metadata
- claim that a contract was signed by a person who did not in fact sign it
- use Delivvo's signing flow to send a contract you did not author or are not authorised to send
- attempt to obscure your IP address, User-Agent, or geolocation in a way intended to defeat or mislead the audit trail (for example, intentional VPN routing combined with a misrepresentation about location)
- delete, modify, or attempt to invalidate audit-trail records preserved on Delivvo's systems
Where Delivvo becomes aware of a credible report of signature misuse, we may immediately suspend the account in question, preserve the contract and audit trail as evidence, and cooperate with law enforcement, courts, or regulators as required.
Cutroom and the desktop app
Cutroom runs on your machine, and your footage, projects, and exports never reach us. That is a design decision we are not going to walk back, and it has a consequence worth stating plainly: we cannot see what you make with Cutroom, so nothing in this section is enforced by scanning your work. These rules bind you as a matter of agreement. Where we do learn about misuse, from a report, a rights holder, a payment dispute, or a legal demand, we can act on the licence.
The Cutroom Licence Agreement is the contract for the software and sets out what the licence allows. This policy adds the conduct rules. With Cutroom, you may not:
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute the software or your licence key, or share your account or key with anyone else. One licence is one person. You may install it on as many of your own machines as you like, and we do not cap that, which is exactly why key sharing is the line
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, or circumvent, disable, or tamper with its licensing, activation, or integrity checks
- forge, replay, or falsify the traffic the app sends our licensing servers, or misrepresent what the app reports about itself
- use the software to create, process, or distribute content that would be prohibited under above, including material that sexualises minors, incites violence, or infringes someone else's rights
Generated content and connected AI providers
Cutroom can connect to third-party AI and media providers using API keys you supply. Those keys stay encrypted on your device and are never sent to us. That means the provider, not Delivvo, sees what you ask it for, and your use of it is governed by that provider's terms as well as this policy.
You are responsible for what you generate and for what you import, including securing the rights you need and following each provider's content and usage rules. AI output can be wrong, and it can reproduce material it should not. Review anything before you publish it or hand it to a client.
Whether a video was filmed, generated, or both, the rules above are what apply to it. Making a thing with a model is not a defence for a thing you may not make.
Automated access and rate limits
You may not use bots, scripts, crawlers, scraping tools, or other automated methods to access Delivvo in a way that exceeds normal product use, evades rate limits, or imposes unreasonable load on the platform. Delivvo may enforce API, upload, message, and login throttling to protect the service.
If Delivvo later provides an official API, sandbox, or integration program, you must use those approved interfaces and remain within the limits and terms that apply to them.
Storage limits and fair use
Storage is limited by plan. You may not use Delivvo as a general-purpose file dump, archive mirror, or bulk-hosting service unrelated to real client work managed through the product. You may not try to avoid storage restrictions by splitting files, rotating accounts, creating misleading projects, or using client uploads to conceal overages.
We may suspend uploads, reject files, or restrict access where usage exceeds the limits of your plan or threatens the stability or economics of the platform.
Security expectations
You must maintain reasonable security practices, including protecting your credentials, using current software, and promptly reporting suspected compromise. If you believe your account, portal, or project data has been exposed or misused, contact the Support button at the bottom of any page on delivvo.io as soon as possible.
Enforcement
If we believe this Acceptable Use Policy, our Terms, or applicable law has been violated, we may take any action we reasonably consider appropriate, including:
- removing or disabling access to content
- suspending uploads, messages, or account features
- limiting or terminating access to Delivvo
- suspending or revoking a Cutroom licence, which stops the licensed features at the app's next online check
- preserving evidence and cooperating with law enforcement or regulators
- taking legal action where appropriate
We may act without prior notice where the risk is urgent, unlawful, or security-sensitive.
The two products are separate for enforcement as well. Revoking a Cutroom licence affects Cutroom only: your Delivvo account, clients, invoices, and files stay open. Suspending a Delivvo account does not, by itself, revoke a Cutroom licence you paid for.
Reporting violations
To report a suspected violation of this policy, email the Support button at the bottom of any page on delivvo.io. Please include enough detail for us to investigate, such as the relevant account, project, portal link, invoice, contract, message, or file.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Continued use of Delivvo after an update takes effect means you accept the revised version.
